Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced exciting new offerings for its 2026 spring and summer seasons in Europe. With the addition of three new ports and itineraries designed to minimize sea days, travelers can look forward to unique experiences in beautiful destinations.
NCL’s latest ports of call include Portree, Scotland; Leirvik (Stord), Norway; and Palamos, Spain. These additions will provide travelers with the opportunity to explore lesser-known yet charming European locations. In total, NCL will offer 22 overnights in Europe during the upcoming season.
One of the highlights of NCL’s 2026 European season is the inclusion of overnight stays in key cities such as Reykjavik, Iceland; Copenhagen, Denmark; Istanbul, Turkiye; and more. These extended stays allow travelers to immerse themselves in the local culture and make the most of their time in each destination.
The Norwegian Sun will embark on a full Baltic season, offering seven- to 10-day open-jaw cruises from Copenhagen, Denmark. Helsinki will serve as a homeport for the first time, adding to the lineup of exciting departure points. Meanwhile, the Norwegian Sky will cruise a seven-day itinerary from Le Havre, France to Copenhagen, with stops in Hamburg, Germany; Zeebrugge, Belgium; Tilbury, England; and IJmuiden, Netherlands.
For those looking to explore the Western Mediterranean, NCL has introduced new seven-day sailings from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia). Travelers can expect visits to Nice/Monaco (Villefranche), Marseille, France; Messina, Salerno; and late-night departures from Livorno, Italy. These itineraries offer a perfect mix of relaxation and exploration in stunning coastal towns.
The Norwegian Dawn will feature a unique open-jaw itinerary with no sea days, starting or ending in Barcelona or Lisbon. With late departures from Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Spain; Portimao, Portugal; Gibraltar, and other ports, travelers can make the most of their time on land. Additionally, the Norwegian Gem will cruise from Barcelona, making its debut call in Palamos, Spain, along with visits to Salerno, Italy, and Nice/Monaco for the first time.
