After eight months of rebranding efforts, HX has officially launched a new travel advisor portal and online education platform. This move comes as part of the company’s revamp from its previous identity as Hurtigruten Expeditions. The goal behind the rebranding was to simplify the company’s name and distinguish it from Hurtigruten’s Coastal Express cruises in Norway.

The newly refreshed portal provides travel advisors with access to updated marketing materials, brochures, and webinars. A key component of the portal is the one-hour training program that covers various aspects such as destinations, sustainability, science, education, and life onboard. The training is designed to be engaging and concise, featuring interactive quizzes to enhance advisors’ understanding of HX’s products. As an incentive, advisors who complete the training by the end of August will be entered into a drawing to win a $150 gift card. Additionally, they will receive an online travel training certificate and accreditation logo upon completion.

In addition to the training program, HX has also introduced a monthly webinar series that covers popular destinations like Antarctica, Iceland & Greenland, and Arctic Canada & Svalbard. These webinars provide detailed information about the expedition products offered by the company and will be accessible through the portal. Furthermore, HX has set up a B2B help desk that advisors can reach by phone at (866) 312-6791 for any assistance they may need.

Looking ahead, HX plans to upload new marketing materials in September, including selling guides and destination packs. These materials aim to further aid travel advisors in promoting and selling HX’s products effectively. This continuous effort to provide support and education to travel advisors reflects HX’s commitment to enhancing the overall customer experience and ensuring that advisors are well-equipped to represent the brand.

Overall, the launch of the new travel advisor portal and online education platform marks a significant milestone in HX’s rebranding journey. By offering comprehensive training, engaging webinars, and a dedicated help desk, HX is demonstrating its dedication to empowering travel advisors and positioning itself as a leader in the expedition cruising industry.
