Royal Caribbean has announced that the long-awaited refurbishment of the Allure of the Seas will finally be taking place in 2025. After being postponed due to the pandemic, the cruise line is planning a $100 million renovation of this Oasis-class ship. The Allure will come back into service in April with a whole host of new features.

One of the exciting additions to the Allure will be the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, which has already been a hit on the new Utopia of the Seas. This bar features virtual windows that provide stunning beach views and an animatronic parrot that adds to the tropical ambiance. Additionally, the Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, currently on the Wonder of the Seas and the Utopia, will also find a home on the Allure.

The ship will emerge from its drydock with a reimagined pool deck featuring resort-style pools. Guests will find a wider variety of seating options, including stylish casitas, in-pool loungers, and daybeds for ultimate relaxation under the sun.

For those seeking a bit of adventure, the Allure will be adding the Perfect Storm waterslides – the Cyclone and Typhoon racing slides, as well as the SuperCell bowl slide. Additionally, the Ultimate Abyss dry slide will offer an exhilarating experience for guests looking for a quick thrill.

The Solarium on the Allure will introduce new elements, including the Samba Grill, adding a touch of excitement to this relaxing space. The Social298 teen space will also see upgrades, with new entertainment options like video games, music, and movies for young guests to enjoy.

One of the most exciting additions to the Allure will be the new Ultimate Panoramic Suites located above the ship’s bridge. These suites offer breathtaking 200-degree ocean views, providing guests with a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

The refurbishment of the Allure of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Amplified program, introduced in 2018. This initiative aims to enhance the guest experience by introducing new features and amenities to existing ships. The Allure, which originally debuted in December 2010 as Royal Caribbean’s second Oasis-class ship, is set to impress once again with its upcoming renovation in 2025.
